My journey into writing and self-publishing

Writing is about communication. It needs an audience. To reach an audience, it needs form.
I didn't set out to self-publish. I have dreams, as many do, of finding a publisher and securing, at worst, an advance that would keep me solvent, and at best the success of JK Rowling.
That hasn't happened yet.
But, hey … I wrote a book! It is a milestone in my life, a voyage of discovery, a gargantuan effort in tenacity and focus.
It deserves to be "out there".
So, I'm putting it "out there". Creative writing should be shared, not kept secret. Writers are communicators; if we have no-one to write to, what's the point?
My novel is called Annie, the Doll, its Thief and her Lover. You'll find extracts here for your perusal, plus the option to buy it as an e-book or order a printed copy.
It will remain on its journey around agents' inboxes and slush piles, because I still harbour dreams of extravagant book deals, film rights and merchandising.
I'll also still continue to write. You'll find other writings published on here in due course.
