Jackie Trippier Holt is the pen name of a Lancashire writer who was born and bred in Rossendale.
She has travelled around the country a little, discovering that the local joke about needing your passport to leave and come back is not completely true. The old saying that "you always come back", however, seems to be.
Her career has been varied: bar maid, fortune teller, public relations executive, teacher, newspaper and online journalist and freelance writer of women's erotica.
She lives a small hamlet in the Rossendale Valley, with with her family of humans, cats and dogs. Jackie is a pagan, a pescatarian, has an interest in psychology, likes hill walking and is an online roleplayer.
